Creators Backstory

Communication expert Michelle Burke and co-author Lilamani de Silva, MSc., met while working in Seattle 20+ years ago. Two women from different continents crossed paths unexpectedly, became friends, and created Personalogy™ Games. They met in Seattle while Michelle (from Northern California), was a keynote speaker and consulting at Microsoft and Lilamani (living between New Zealand and London) was producing a natural history documentary for Discovery.

Personalogy™, a creative labor of love, was invented years back in their respective lounges, over numerous phone and Zoom calls. This dynamic duo brought Personalogy wherever they went; play-testing across the globe in bars, cafes, living rooms, on planes, trains and road-trips. They received valuable feedback while making new friends along their unique journey. Their years of hard work paid off with Personalogy making the top 100 games on Amazon.

Michelle and Lilamani share a love of family, friends, playing games and a ruckus laughter. Their common passion is to ignite meaningful conversations that build positive and lasting relationships. This dynamic duo believes everyone wants to feel connected and Personalogy™ Games do exactly that!
